EAST RIDGE, TN — A tragic, multi-vehicle collision turned deadly on Sunday afternoon along I-75 near the Tennessee-Georgia line, when a fiery crash involving six passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer erupted into chaos just outside Chattanooga.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, several fatalities have been confirmed, though the total number of victims has not yet been made public.

Officials reported that two of the vehicles were “actively on fire” following the collision. The crash took place in East Ridge, a suburb of Chattanooga, and quickly drew a massive emergency response.
